Our Story
How a grandmother's name and a community spirit became the most-loved restaurant in Trece Martires.
The Beginning
In Filipino culture, Lola is more than a word for grandmother — she is the keeper of the best recipes, the one who always sets one more plate at the table, and the reason Sunday lunches feel sacred. When Lola's Plates and Pours opened on Hugo Perez Road in Trece Martires, Cavite, that spirit was baked into everything: the food, the welcome, the willingness to linger.
The concept was straightforward and ambitious at the same time: build a place in Cavite where the food punches above its weight, the drinks are crafted with intention, and the atmosphere makes you feel like you've arrived somewhere special. Not Manila-special. Cavite-special — warm, accessible, and genuinely theirs.
Today, Lola's Plates and Pours is where Trece Martires celebrates. Birthdays, promotions, anniversaries, and ordinary Thursday nights that somehow turn into something worth remembering. The garden glows at night, the band plays on weekends, and the kitchen keeps sending out plates that taste exactly like the name promises.
What We Stand For
The name Lola isn't decorative — it's a standard. Every guest who walks through our gate should feel the same ease and warmth that you feel in a family kitchen. No pretense, no formality. Just good food and genuine hospitality.
YLPMIS BAND plays every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 PM — because we believe great food tastes better when there's music in the air. Lola's is not just a restaurant; on weekends, it's an experience.
We're not competing with Metro Manila. We're building something for our community — a restaurant that Trece Martires can be genuinely proud of, with plates and pours that stand on their own anywhere in the country.
What We Believe
Portion sizes that respect hunger. Flavours that don't hold back. At Lola's, generous is the default setting in the kitchen.
From the Crispy Pork Kare-Kare to the signature Lola's Chicken, every dish on the menu earns its place with real taste — not just novelty.
Our al fresco setting — bougainvillea, evening lights, warm Cavite air — is as intentional as anything on the plate. Ambiance is not an afterthought; it is the frame around the food.
The "Pours" in our name is a promise. Whether it's a craft cocktail, a glass of wine, or a house mocktail, every pour is made with the same care as the food.
Lola's hospitality only works when the people serving it mean it. We hire warm, we train well, and we make sure every guest leaves feeling looked after.
